Product Description
MagniMates is a magnetic stick figure toy consisting of multiple connected pieces containing small internal magnets. The product was sold online via blumibaby.com between 28 January 2026 and 1 March 2026.
Defect
The small magnets within the product may become dislodged from the casing during normal use.
Hazard
If swallowed, these magnets can attract to each other inside the body and may cause serious internal injury, including damage to the stomach or intestines, which may require urgent medical treatment.
What Consumers Should Do
Consumers should take the following steps immediately:
- Stop using the product immediately
- Remove the product from the reach of all children
- Dispose of the product safely by placing it in a sealed bag and placing it in an outdoor bin. This is to reduce the risk of the product being accessed by children after disposal.
Remedy
All customers who purchased MagniMates are entitled to a full refund.
Refunds have already been processed to the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear.
